Bring 'Em Back Alive is an adventure series set in 1930s Singapore, starring Bruce Boxleitner, Cindy Morgan, and Ron O'Neal. The show follows the exploits of Frank Buck, a legendary big-game trapper and explorer based on the real historical figure who authored the memoir of the same name. Buck navigates exotic locales, dangerous wildlife, and treacherous rivals in pursuit of rare animals and thrilling discoveries. Airing from September 1982 to May 1983, the series was designed to capitalize on the adventure-film craze sparked by Raiders of the Lost Ark. Despite its compelling premise and charismatic cast, Bring 'Em Back Alive struggled against stiff network competition and was cancelled after just 17 episodes due to low ratings.
