Welcome Home, Mone is a Japanese series following Momone Nagaura, born in 1995 in Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture. After failing her college entrance exams, Momone relocates to nearby Tome City to live with a family friend. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets a popular Tokyo weather forecaster who reveals how meteorological predictions can shape the future. Inspired by this encounter, Momone commits herself to becoming a weather forecaster, embarking on a coming-of-age journey rooted in rural Japan. The series captures her determination to pursue an unconventional path while navigating family expectations and personal ambition.
