Soldier of Fortune, Inc. is an action series that ran for two seasons from 1997 to 1999, following an elite team executing covert missions for the US Government. The first season balanced high-stakes operations against terrorists and drug lords with deeper themes of patriotism and sacrifice. Trevor Rabin's memorable theme song became iconic for the show. The second season, retitled SOF: Special Ops Force, introduced a Peter Graves voiceover and replaced key cast members with Dennis Rodman and David Eigenberg. The shift toward lighter, hipper storylines alienated the original audience, ultimately leading to cancellation.
