I want to be a Star(2016)

I Want to Be a Star is a comedy series about the chaotic world of film extras. When Assistant Director Jeremy demands twenty young performers for a military ambush scene in just three hours, calefare agency owner Zhong Da Tian scrambles to assemble a crew. He recruits Edgar, an enthusiastic super fan hoping to get close to his idol; Mei Yi, a self-conscious woman persuaded by her friend Gao Mei despite her insecurity about a birthmark; and his own son Di Long, an unemployed drifter whom Da Tian sees as a chance to build his talent roster. As this unlikely group of extras embarks on their first film set, they discover the unglamorous realities of background acting. The series follows their misadventures and personal growth as they navigate the demands of the entertainment industry, blending humor with genuine character moments.
