Bittomo x Senshi Kirameki Powers! is the fifth instalment in the Girls x Heroine series, centring on friendship and games. When Kirari encounters Himenyan—a princess who leaps from the popular sword-and-magic game Kiramori—she discovers the girl has fled the Makkura Empire and its dark witch Makkulala. Afraid and hunted, Himenyan finds safety in Kirari's friendship. The two form a "bittomo" bond, and Kirari transforms into the Heroine of the Sun, Kirapawa Sunny, to battle the empire's forces. As they gather precious Kirapawa Memories and strengthen their bond with allies, Kirari and Himenyan face increasingly powerful enemies. Their journey culminates in a final confrontation against Makkulala herself, where friendship and courage become their greatest weapons in protecting both worlds.
