Enjiya is a Japanese drama series that follows Tomoki, a man whose life unravels when he's falsely accused of sexual harassment on the eve of his wedding. Losing his job and fiancée, he stands on a rooftop contemplating suicide when a staged knife attack interrupts him. The incident introduces him to "enjiya"—elaborate, theatrical revenge scenarios performed by professionals upon request. Intrigued by this dark service, Tomoki hires Aika, a performer, to orchestrate elaborate comeuppances against those who destroyed his life. As Tomoki descends into his quest for vengeance through these staged events, the series explores the blurred lines between justice and revenge, and the psychological toll of orchestrated payback.
