Ukiwa: Tomodachi ijō, furin miman is a Japanese drama series following Maiko, who relocates to Tokyo with her husband for his job. Left alone in a corporate apartment while her husband works late into the evenings, Maiko strikes up a friendship with Futaba, her husband's boss who lives next door. The two women bond over casual conversations from their adjoining porches. When Maiko discovers her husband's infidelity, her connection with Futaba deepens, blurring the lines between friendship and something more complex.
