On the Neman is a Polish historical drama series adapted from Eliza Orzeszkowa's novel, set in 1886 Lithuania. The story unfolds amid simmering conflict between two families: the Bohatyrowicz clan and the Korczyn estate. At the heart of the narrative lies a forbidden romance between Justyna Orzelska, niece of the aristocratic Benedykt Korczyński, and Jan Bohatyrowicz, a member of the rival family.
