On Our Own(1977)

On Our Own is an American sitcom that aired on CBS from October 1977 to April 1978. The series follows Maria Bonino and Julia Peters, two secretaries at a high-powered New York advertising agency who land promotions to art director and copywriter. As they navigate their new roles with enthusiasm, they contend with a colorful cast of colleagues including J.M. Bedford, the chairman; Toni McBain, the president; copywriter April Baxter; TV commercial producer Eddie Barnes; and salesman Craig Boatwright. The show captures the workplace dynamics and ambitions of two women climbing the corporate ladder in the competitive advertising world. Despite its promising premise, On Our Own lasted just one season with 22 episodes before its cancellation.
