An Adventure in the Otaku Galaxy is a comedic anime series based on the classic PC Engine and Famicom RPG. A mysterious idol group, controlled by the demon Indra, spreads a bizarre disease that transforms men into otaku across the globe. With humanity's fate hanging in the balance, a nameless wanderer teams up with an eccentric sidekick and an unconventional ally to battle the idol group and thwart Indra's sinister scheme. The hero is a seasoned fighter equally at home in combat, at sea, in space, or navigating absurd social situations.
