Antikrundan(1989)

Antikrundan is the Swedish adaptation of the BBC's Antiques Roadshow format. The series travels across Sweden, inviting members of the public to bring their antiques for expert appraisal and valuation. Since its premiere in August 1989, Antikrundan has become a fixture of Swedish television, drawing over 2 million viewers per episode and airing annually on SVT. The show began as a co-production between SVT Malmö and the BBC, initially featuring Scandinavian episodes of the original format. Jesper Aspegren hosted the programme from its inception until 1999, when Anne Lundberg took over. Many of the expert valuers have remained with the series since its launch, lending continuity and authority to the appraisals.
