Chaat Payak(2016)

Chaat Payak is a Thai historical series set during the twilight of slavery, following young Glaa, whose father dies in battle and whose mother is enslaved. When their master attempts to force her into concubinage, she orchestrates Glaa's escape. He washes ashore at the home of Khun Luang Phra Pisoot, a turning point that separates him from his mother forever. Driven by her final wish that he become a respected man, Glaa dedicates himself to earning honor and eventually rescuing her from bondage. The series traces his journey from refugee to dignified figure, anchored by a son's unwavering promise to free the woman who saved his life.
