In 1931, as Japan invades Northeast China, the Nationalist government orders a retreat, leaving the region defenseless. Zhao Laoga, a determined villager, forms an anti-Japanese resistance with locals to protect their homeland against overwhelming odds. 中国地 follows this grassroots fight for survival during one of China's darkest hours. With limited resources and no official military backing, the resistance must rely on cunning, courage, and community bonds to stand against a far superior force. The series captures the brutal reality of occupation and the ordinary people who refused to surrender their land, blending historical drama with intimate human stories of sacrifice and defiance.
