Patient Zero(2022)

Patient Zero is a Russian drama series set in 1980s USSR, where the Elista Children's Hospital confronts the country's first major HIV outbreak. Over 70 children and several adults have been infected with a disease for which no cure exists. The series follows doctors, patients, and families as they struggle to maintain dignity and hope amid the medical crisis. Facing stigma, fear, and the unknown, the hospital staff work to care for the afflicted while society grapples with a frightening epidemic.
