NET Playhouse is an American dramatic anthology series from National Educational Television that aired adaptations of fiction novels, stage plays, fairytales, and historic events. The series emerged during public television's formative years, before NET merged with WNDT Newark to eventually become WNET and the Public Broadcasting Service.
