On the Waterfront is a British children's series that aired on BBC Saturday mornings during 1988 and 1989. Hosted by Andrew O'Connor, Kate Copstick, Bernadette Nolan and Terry Randall, the show was filmed at Brunswick Dock in Liverpool. Each episode blended comedy sketches with cartoons, competitions and music to entertain young viewers. The series featured writing from Russell T Davies, who would later become a BAFTA-winning screenwriter known for Queer as Folk and Doctor Who. Davies contributed a comedic dubbed version of the children's drama The Flashing Blade to the programme's mix of entertainment.
