In the Chamber of Bliss is a historical drama centered on Military Governor Choi Ngok, who plots to overthrow the Yuen Sai Hoi government while secretly planning an uprising in Yunnan. To mask his intentions, Ngok feigns a romance with the celebrated courtesan Cheung Feng Wan, unaware she has genuinely fallen for him.
