SMart(1994)

SMart is a British children's art programme that aired on CBBC from 1994 to 2009. Spanning 199 episodes, the show followed the format established by Tony Hart's Take Hart and Hartbeat, encouraging young viewers to create their own artwork. Originally a 25-minute programme recorded at BBC Pebble Mill in Birmingham, SMart expanded to an hour-long format in 2007 and relocated to BBC Television Centre in London. Early episodes featured Morph, the beloved character from Take Hart, as a recurring presence. The series maintained a hands-on, creative approach throughout its 15-year run, inspiring generations of British children to explore art and design.
