G-Men '75(1975)

G-Men '75 is a Japanese detective series that aired on Tokyo Broadcasting System from 1975 to 1982, spanning 355 episodes across seven years. The show follows an investigative unit called the G-Men, led by the steady hand of Superintendent Kuroki, portrayed by Tetsuro Tamba throughout the entire run. The ensemble cast rotated over time, with Yasuaki Kurata playing the karate-trained Detective Kusano and Gō Wakabayashi joining as Lieutenant Tachibana from episode 105 onward. The series featured a revolving door of supporting actors including Takeshi Kaga, Mari Natsuki, and Hiroshi Miyauchi. Shunsuke Kikuchi composed the opening theme, while various artists—including cast members—performed closing songs. A sequel, G-Men '82, followed the original series' conclusion, cementing the franchise's place in Japanese television history.
