Tetya Marta(2022)

Tetya Marta is a Russian series about an eight-year-old girl navigating life with her elderly grandfather, who requires more care than she does. Desperate to avoid the orphanage, Martha conceals her precarious situation from her teacher, a local police officer, and a nosy neighbor. She convinces a struggling actor to pose as her father, buying her time. When relatives from Kazan arrive—including the charming but self-serving Marat—Martha's circumstances shift unexpectedly. Marat's interest in her, however, masks a darker motive: he's after her Moscow apartments. The series blends comedy with genuine stakes as Martha learns to navigate deception, family loyalty, and survival in a world that often overlooks children in crisis.
