The Broken Us(2022)

The Broken Us is a Thai drama series that follows Sun, an autistic man preoccupied with ending his life, whose plans are interrupted when Uncle Mok, owner of a small coffee shop and library called Tiny Butterfly, collapses and dies on the street before his eyes. Two strangers witness the same tragedy: Yaimai, a financial planner with a taste for casual encounters, and Tor, a sixteen-year-old runaway. Bound by circumstance, the three give statements to police and take on the unexpected responsibility of arranging a funeral for a man with no family. What begins as a chance encounter becomes an unlikely connection as these broken people navigate grief, purpose, and the possibility of healing together.
