My Life as a Villain Character(2022)

My Life as a Villain Character is a Chinese fantasy series following Ye Wange, an office worker who regains consciousness after a car accident to discover she's been transported into a novel as its antagonist. Convinced she can escape back to reality by pairing the male lead Feng Muchen with the virtuous Lu Wanqing, Ye Wange repeatedly attempts to orchestrate their romance. Each failure forces her to confront an uncomfortable truth: the only way home is to complete the life quests embedded in the story itself. As Ye Wange navigates her new role, she must balance her desire to return to the real world with the unexpected complications that arise when trying to rewrite someone else's narrative.
