Guyuan Imperial College is a Chinese series following Wu Wan Wan, a university student who accidentally time-travels to an ancient academy and disguises herself as a man to survive. Caught between two worlds, she forms an unlikely bond with classmates Tang Wen Qi and Qi Shan as they navigate the rigid hierarchies of their feudal school. The trio challenges entrenched class divisions and pushes to admit female students, blending modern educational ideals with classical traditions. Their journey balances comedy with genuine social reform, exploring themes of gender equality and institutional change through the eyes of someone who knows what education could become. What begins as a survival tactic becomes a mission to transform an entire system.
