Pending Train(2023)

Pending Train is a Japanese drama series that begins when commuters aboard a train receive an earthquake warning on their phones. The train lurches violently, sparks fly, and passengers are thrown about before darkness falls. When they awaken, the passengers discover they've been transported to an unfamiliar wilderness—the tunnel has vanished, replaced by overgrown brush, and the tracks simply end ahead and behind them. Cut off from the modern world, the stranded commuters must grapple with their new reality. Some panic, others remain oddly calm, and all face an urgent question: where—or when—are they? Survival in this strange landscape becomes their only priority as they work together to understand what's happened and find a way home.
