The Kind-Hearted Cat(2023)

The Kind-Hearted Cat is a series following Miyuki, a nursery teacher and single mother, who meets Kumara, a Sri Lankan man, while volunteering in Tohoku after a disaster. A year later, fate brings them together again, and their connection deepens. Kumara's warmth quickly wins over Miyuki's daughter Maya, and the three begin building a life together as a family. As Miyuki and Kumara exchange marriage vows, their newfound happiness seems complete—until circumstances test their bond and threaten the life they've constructed.
