Taiwan Tornado is a crime drama series following Chi-Chung Huang, the ruthless second son of a powerful business family. When a prosecutor refuses to help cover up his family's involvement in a death penalty case, Chi-Chung's actions lead to the man's death. Forced into hiding in southern Taiwan, Chi-Chung falls under the control of a local crime syndicate. While drugged and barely conscious, he commits a brutal assault on Chia-Yi, an innocent woman from a poor background. Determined to see him face justice, Chia-Yi pursues legal action—a resolve that hardens when she discovers she's pregnant with his child. What unfolds is a fierce clash between wealth and poverty, power and justice, as a vulnerable woman takes on an entrenched criminal dynasty.
