Gilani the Ascetic(2023)

Gilani the Ascetic follows a spiritual seeker who travels to Baghdad with his companion Eşref in pursuit of truth. After a long period of withdrawal from the world, Gilani discovers the city consumed by chaos and disorder. Moved by the suffering around him, he embarks on a historic struggle to restore equality and peace to Baghdad. The series explores themes of faith, redemption, and social justice as Gilani confronts the corruption and violence threatening the city. His journey becomes one of both inner spiritual transformation and outward resistance against injustice, testing his convictions and resolve in a turbulent medieval setting.
