Winter and Lion(2023)

Winter and Lion is a Chinese war series following two brothers who enlist during the Korean War in 1950. Captain Wu Qianli returns home determined to steer his wayward younger brother Wu Wanli away from trouble, but both end up joining the army together. Shipped to the Korean battlefield, the brothers navigate the brutal realities of combat alongside seasoned veterans who test their resolve and brotherhood. The series explores themes of family loyalty, coming of age under fire, and the moral complexities of war. Set against the autumn of 1950, Winter and Lion captures the human cost of conflict through the eyes of soldiers learning to survive in one of the twentieth century's bloodiest wars.
