Chatterers(2023)

Chatterers is a Russian comedy series following Danya, an ambitious young stand-up comedian who arrives in Moscow with dreams of stardom but little else. Desperate for affordable housing, he rents a room from Vyacheslav Sokolov, a bitter, aging man nursing old grievances. Their relationship starts rocky, but an unexpected connection emerges when Danya discovers that Sokolov was once a celebrated Soviet satirist. As the two unlikely roommates navigate their differences, they find unexpected common ground in comedy and life experience. The series explores how humor and shared passion can bridge generational divides, blending comedy with character-driven drama as Danya pursues his dreams while learning from a mentor he never expected to find.
