Wind Direction(2024)

Wind Direction follows two teenage sisters, Cheng Miaomiao and Cheng Yayao, uprooted from the Lin Qi Oil Field where their family has worked for generations. When their parents relocate to the coastal town of Heping in the late 1990s, the siblings must adapt to an unfamiliar world far from everything they've known. Separated from their roots in the Northwest, they confront the complexities of adolescence while discovering who they are beyond their family's legacy. The series captures their journey through displacement and belonging, as small-town coastal life tests their resilience and reshapes their futures.
