Shopgirls is an Italian series following six employees at an upscale fashion boutique in central Rome. Marta, Roberta, Fiorenza, Paola, Lucia, and Romeo navigate the pressures of their demanding manager Francesca while juggling personal crises, family obligations, and romantic entanglements. Each character carries their own burdens—children to raise, difficult relationships, aging parents—yet finds unexpected camaraderie with their coworkers.
