Romantic Boyfriend is a Chinese comedy series that follows Qiu Feifei, a woman exhausted by her family's marriage pressure, who hires Ji Xuan, a struggling drama student, to pretend to be her boyfriend during Lunar New Year. When her mother unexpectedly grows attached to him, Ji Xuan finds himself trapped in the charade longer than planned.
