Juukou B-Fighter is a 1995 Japanese tokusatsu series following three members of Earth Academia as they battle the otherworldly Jamahl Empire. Part of Toei's Metal Hero Series, the show features the "Beetle Fighters" in high-octane combat against invading alien forces. The series blends practical effects and suit work typical of the era's tokusatsu productions. Its action sequences and props were later repurposed for the American adaptation Big Bad Beetleborgs, introducing the concept to Western audiences.
