Samurai Gun(2004)

Samurai Gun is an anime series set during Japan's industrial revolution, when the Shogunate's brutal grip tightens on the oppressed. Beatings, imprisonment, and murder are tools of control. A secret faction of samurai has emerged, armed with firearms and new technology, determined to strike back against tyranny. Ichimatsu is one of them—by day a tavern worker, by night a vigilante dispensing gunpowder justice to corrupt officials. As he navigates his double life between the brothels and the shadows, Ichimatsu fights to end the bloodshed and free the people from fear. The series blends historical setting with action-driven rebellion, following a lone warrior caught between two worlds.
