Moon Lovers is a Japanese drama series following Rensuke Hazuki, the ambitious president of an interior design manufacturer planning to expand his business into China. When he travels to Shanghai, Rensuke encounters three women who transform his life: Maemi Ninomiya, an interior designer he's worked with; Yuzuki Onuki, a glamorous model from a wealthy family; and Ryu, a Chinese woman already in a relationship. As Rensuke navigates professional ambitions and unexpected romantic entanglements across cultures, each connection challenges his priorities and forces him to confront what truly matters. The series explores desire, ambition, and the complications that arise when business and personal lives collide in a foreign city.
