The End of the World(1994)

The End of the World is a drama series following Maria, who works nights at a cabaret to fund her sister Nana's eye surgery—a debt born from a childhood accident Maria caused that blinded Nana and killed their father. When a traffic accident hospitalizes Shiro, a celebrated but unhappy concert pianist, he seizes the chance to escape his loveless marriage. Faking amnesia, he takes refuge at Maria's home and becomes the cabaret's piano player. As Maria and Shiro grow closer, their tentative connection begins to unravel, revealing that fate may have other plans for them both. The series explores redemption, second chances, and whether two broken people can truly heal together.
