Padam, Padam... The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats is a Korean drama about a man wrongly imprisoned for murder who fights to reclaim his life. After serving 16 years, Yang Kang Chil is released and becomes a carpenter, determined to move forward despite his trauma. He falls in love with Jang Ji Na, a veterinarian—but she's the niece of the victim in his case. As their relationship deepens, Kang Chil must uncover the real killer to prove his innocence and protect what he's built. The series explores themes of redemption, justice, and whether love can survive the weight of a dark past.
