Mermaids is an animated series following Ioli, a romantic and sensitive mermaid inhabiting the Amvrakikos Gulf alongside her younger sister Callirroi. While Ioli navigates the emotional complexities of underwater life among squid, snappers, sea urchins and seals, Callirroi pursues a single-minded goal: to shed her virginity. The show blends whimsical fantasy with coming-of-age themes as the sisters encounter the quirks and challenges of their vibrant marine world.
