Young Talent Time is an Australian television variety series that launched on Network Ten in 1971, hosted by musician Johnny Young. The show featured a rotating cast of young performers who sang popular classics and contemporary hits, alongside a weekly junior talent competition modeled after The Mickey Mouse Club. The original run became a cultural phenomenon, discovering future stars including Tina Arena and Dannii Minogue, and generating hit singles, albums, and merchandise. It ran until 1988, earning multiple Logie Awards. Network Ten revived the series in 2012 with musician and actor Rob Mills as host, maintaining the same format of showcasing emerging talent through music and performance.
