The Work Experience(2012)

The Work Experience is a British comedy series that blends sitcom, mockumentary and prank show formats. Premiering on E4 in October 2012, it follows two ambitious interns navigating a chaotic week at Grade PR, a trendy fashion PR agency. The interns face absurd tasks, workplace drama and emotional meltdowns as they try to impress their new colleagues. The twist: the entire agency is fake. Every employee is an actor, and the interns are unknowingly part of an elaborate prank. Created by Michael Livingstone, Tom Thostrup and Claudia Webster, the series mines comedy from the collision between the interns' genuine ambitions and the carefully constructed fiction surrounding them.
