Kinpika(2016)

Kinpika is a Japanese series following three men bound by betrayal and imprisonment. Kenta Sakaguchi, a former yakuza who served 13 years for murder, teams up with Hidehiko Hirohashi, a politician's scapegoat, and Isao Okawara, a self-defense official turned fugitive. Under the guidance of retired detective Gonzaemon Mukai, the trio pursues revenge against those who wronged them. Each man carries the weight of sacrifice—whether through violence, false conviction, or defection—and their alliance becomes an instrument of retribution. The series explores themes of loyalty, corruption, and redemption as these damaged men navigate the criminal underworld to settle old scores and reclaim their dignity.
