Chandon Pictures is an Australian comedy series that aired on Movie Extra from 2007 to 2009. The show follows a struggling video production company of the same name, chronicling the chaotic misadventures of its staff as they navigate the film industry. Based on a Tropfest short film by Rob Carlton and Alex Weinress, the series stars Carlton as the lead character—a role that drew real-life intrigue when his connection to Triple M radio personality Brian Carlton (The Spoonman) was publicly revealed during an on-air interview. Across sixteen episodes, Chandon Pictures balances workplace comedy with behind-the-scenes industry satire. The show's success led to a second season greenlight in 2008, with Lionsgate acquiring international format rights. It later aired in the UK on Dave and in the US on the Sundance Channel, expanding its reach beyond Australia.
