Dirty Hands(1978)

Dirty Hands is a historical drama set in the fictional Central European nation of Illyria during the final months of World War II. A young man secures work as secretary to a left-wing politician, but his true purpose is far darker: the Communist Party has ordered him to assassinate the politician, who is suspected of plotting compromise with rival factions. As the young man navigates the dangerous household, he confronts the moral weight of his mission and the human cost of political ideology.
