Welcome to Waikiki is a Korean comedy series following three struggling dreamers sharing a guesthouse in Seoul. Kang Dong-Goo chases his ambition to direct films despite a string of setbacks that have left him cynical. Cheon Joon-Ki abandoned his father's legacy as a celebrated actor to scrape by in minor roles. Bong-Doo-Sik arrived in the capital hoping to break through as a screenwriter, only to find the industry indifferent to his efforts. As the trio navigates failed auditions, financial hardship, and romantic misadventures, their friendship becomes the unexpected anchor holding their dreams—and their lives—together. The series balances humor with genuine heart, capturing the messy reality of pursuing creative careers in a competitive industry.
