Comic Girls(2018)

Comic Girls is a slice-of-life anime series following Kaoruko Moeta, a 15-year-old aspiring four-panel manga artist who moves into a dormitory for female manga creators. There she befriends three fellow artists: Koyume, who draws shoujo manga; Ruki, who specializes in teen romance; and Tsubasa, a shounen manga artist. The series chronicles their daily struggles and triumphs as they balance deadlines, creative blocks, and personal growth while working late into the night to complete their manga. With humor and heart, Comic Girls captures the chaotic energy of the creative process and the bonds formed between young artists chasing their dreams under one roof.
