San Oikogeneia(2017)

San Oikogeneia is a Cypriot series following four orphans who grew up together in Nicosia and chose to become each other's family rather than seek out their biological parents. Bound by shared trauma and fear of rejection, they've built a life as chosen siblings. When one of them falls critically ill and needs an organ transplant, the search for a compatible donor forces an unexpected reckoning. The only viable candidates are their biological parents—people they've spent years avoiding. Desperate to save their friend, the four agree to secretly search for each other's families, swearing not to reveal what they discover until they uncover the truth about why they were abandoned. As old wounds resurface and long-buried secrets emerge, their tight-knit bond faces its greatest test.
