Bobby Au-yeung stars as the historical figure whose keen investigative methods and scientific approach to solving crimes would eventually shape his groundbreaking work, Collected Cases of Injustice Rectified—the world's earliest forensic science manual. The series traces Song Ci's modest origins and the pivotal cases that inspired him to document his revolutionary techniques. Set against the backdrop of Mid-Imperial China, the drama blends historical fact with fictional narrative to explore how one man's dedication to truth and justice transformed criminal investigation forever. TVB aired the 45-minute episodes five days a week from December 1999 to January 2000.
