Zodiac II(2006)

Zodiac II is a French crime series that picks up in July 2006 as the trial of serial killer Mathias Rousseau begins in Aix-en-Provence. Detective Esther Delaître returns to France to testify and settles in Switzerland with her adopted son Quentin at her brother's home near Lake Geneva. When a young girl vanishes from the prestigious Daguerre Institute—where Mathias once studied—Esther is pulled back into the case. The mystery deepens: is the imprisoned killer orchestrating events from his cell, or is a copycat at work? As Esther investigates, the investigation unravels connections stretching back two years, forcing her to confront whether the Zodiac's reign of terror has truly ended.
