When I Marry a Stranger is a Thai romantic drama about two jilted souls who meet by chance. Maysarin, a celebrated socialite, is abandoned at the altar by her fiancé Sarut. The same night, Kadethaen, a 30-year-old real estate mogul, watches his own bride flee with another man. Devastated, both end up at a beachside party where they find solace in each other's company. After a night of drinking and a drunken proposal, they return to a hotel together. When morning arrives, Maysarin wants to forget the encounter entirely, but Kadethaen refuses to let her go.
