Atom(2025)

Atom is a historical drama set in 1942, following Soviet secret police chief Beria as he orders his deputy Vsevolod Zamyatin to lead a team of scientists in designing the Soviet Union's first atomic bomb. Racing against time during World War II, the scientists face an nearly impossible challenge: developing nuclear weapons while the nation fights for survival. The series explores the tension between scientific ambition, political pressure, and the moral weight of creating weapons of mass destruction. Caught between Stalin's ruthless demands and the limits of human capability, Zamyatin and his team must navigate espionage, sabotage, and personal sacrifice to achieve what many believe cannot be done.
